WHEREAS, the Royal High School Band represented the citizens of the City of Brookshire in tribute to the late Dr. Martin Luther King while participating in the annual Martin Luther King Day Parade and Celebration with honor and distinction, and

WHEREAS, the Fightin’ Falcon Band was honored on April 30, 1994, for having participated and was selected as Honor Band and Outstanding Band by their peers, and

WHEREAS, these outstanding musicians and future leaders brought pride and honor to the City of Brookshire and to every citizen, touching their lives in such a way that will never be forgotten,

THEREFORE, it is with pride and administration as Mayor of the City of Brookshire and on behalf of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Brookshire, that April 30, 1994 be proclaimed “ROYAL HIGH SCHOOL FIGHTIN’ FALCON BAND DAY”.
